In Blackpool again mentoring another photography degree student, James Hanks, along with Geoff Clark. Geoff was an inspiration and guide to me in those formative years at Blackpool and The Fylde College and he still continues to support and mentor the young photographers of tomorrow. In his words; ‘Playing with photography, trusting instinct and having an instinctive reaction to situations you’re seeing around you’ is something I still stand by today. Using both digital and film, James was photographing international model Emma Ross on what was a very cold and windy day but his energy and enthusiasm for the shoot was quite something!
